Education

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Christian Theology from Seattle Pacific University in 2004. I worked in the Corporate world before realizing that my one dream was to be a teacher. So I went back to school and worked to get my Masters In Teaching.

Experience

I have been teaching since 2006 and I LOVE my career. I have taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. I have my own classroom website at http://educationforthegeneration.weebly.com. Check it out if you want to learn more about my class!!!!

Bio

I was born on a little island in Texas and moved around a lot (being a military kid). We eventually settled in Seattle where my dad retired from the military and I lived there for 23 years. I started my teaching career there before moving to Chattanooga in 2010. I met my soon to be husband in Haiti, in an orphanage. He was living here and I was living in Seattle. That is what brought me to this great city! I am VERY adventurous and spontaneous and have visited 5 of the 7 continents. I love backpacking around the world. I especially love 3rd world countries, going on mission trips, reading a good book, looking at the stars and planets with my GPS guided telescope and golfing, or doing anything outdoors with my other half, Joseph.
