The Snow Hill Elementary Library has a number of online tools available to help students:
- SHES Library Catalog: See what books are currently available at the Snow Hill Library.
- Sora: 24/7 access to free ebooks and audiobooks through Sora- Hamilton County Remote Reading. This is available through ClassLink or through the Sora app for Android and iOS (select "Find my School" then search for Snow Hill Elementary). Click here for instructions on accessing and using Sora.
- Chattanooga Public Library: The Chattanooga Public Library has partnered with Hamilton County Schools to provide free public library cards for all Hamilton County students. These cards give students full access to all Chattanooga Public Library resources, including a fantastic selection of ebooks and audiobooks. E-mail Miss Burgess for more information.
- TEL4U: TEL4U is a special website for kids by the Tennessee Electronic Library. It has ebooks, research resources, and more.
In addition to providing library instruction and materials, the library at Snow Hill Elementary is the contact for the district's 1-to-1 initiative. Over the coming years, Hamilton County Schools seeks to provide each K-12 student with a Chromebook to use at school.
