Dress Code
The matter of school dress and grooming will be primarily left to the discretion of the parents.
- Children are not to wear clothing promoting alcohol, lewd behavior, cigarettes, or violence.
- Shorts should be long enough to reach beyond your child’s fingertips.
- For safety, students should wear tennis shoes each day.
No wheelie shoes should be worn in the building. - No hats (or hoods pulled up) are to be worn in the building, unless for a dress up day celebration or as a reward from the teacher.
- Shirts should cover the belly and pants/shorts should cover the buttocks.
Students wearing clothing inappropriate for school may be asked to call home for a change of clothing. If not available, they may be asked to utilize items from the clothing closet.
